sense of elation.

a couple of things i realised about five minutes ago:
- these have been the best holidays since i can remember. i have continually been catching up with friends and just ultimately been doing what i want to do for the first time in too long - school is very restricting. it's been so lovely, and the last three days have been the icing on the cake for that loveliness.
- this has actually been the best year of my life. i've had very few hiccups along the way, i've got to know so many more people, i've recognised and learnt so many new things. i don't know how it has come to be the best year, considering i thought it would be atrocious, but it is not as such.
- i am endlessly happy. i keep thinking this is going to end, something will break my stream of joyousness, but i cannot foresee anything ruining the general good mood.
